You will be patient, professional and well organised with excellent communication and leadership skills, both verbal and written.
You will be able to liaise proactively and effectively with social workers and other members of the multi-disciplinary team. A minimum of two years’ experience in providing care and support to people with learning disabilities and other needs is essential for this role.
You will have a can-do approach with the acknowledgement of positive behaviour support to ensure all service users can enjoy the highest quality of life and promote independence.
You will be positive and flexible in your role, accepting leadership from our supportive management team who will assist you in developing your ongoing career in social care.
You will also assist the Extra Care Manager and Registered Manager in ensuring an empowering service which meets the needs of our clients and works with the service user’s families and friends to promote a positive atmosphere.
