You will manage a team of support workers to deliver excellent standards of care and support.
You will be expected to lead effectively, delivering regular supervision and taking an active role in support workers continuous professional development.
You will be patient, attentive and responsive to individuals’ need and preferences and promote unconditional positive regard for the people we support.
You will have previously managed community spaces or delivered engagement programmes and will have an understanding and experience of working with partnership agencies.
You will need experience of working with vulnerable adults and those with identified support needs. Experience of managing volunteers is desirable but not essential.

You will be patient, professional and well organised with excellent communication and leadership skills, both verbal and written.
You will be able to liaise proactively and effectively with social workers and other members of the multi-disciplinary team. A minimum of two years’ experience in providing care and support to people with learning disabilities and other needs is essential for this role.
You will be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, including evenings and weekends. This unique and challenging opportunity will provide you with provide you with an environment that offers personal and professional development. We will provide you with further managerial training and qualifications to best meet the needs of the service.
