You will work alongside the medical retinal consultant team delivering comprehensive care to patients attending with a range of medical retinal conditions and includes the delivery of intravitreal injections. The post holder will also support the core Orthoptic service working as part of a friendly and supportive team of 6 Orthoptists.
You will also undertake the monthly EQA grading test (TaT) and participate in the ongoing internal quality assurance of grading standards. You may train and mentor new screening recruits in all aspects of screening/grading, providing regular 1:1 feedback.
You will assist the Team leader with appraisals of the screening team on a six-monthly interview.
