You should have relevant industry experience and the ability to deliver multi-trade courses and hold relevant qualification at Level 3or above. The ability to communicate effectively with young people and adults and enthusiasm to help them achieve their qualification is essential.
You will be required to supervise approved Contract Partners, providing risk assessments and method statements where permit to work is required for a given task.
You will also be required to use a Toughbook/iPad to capture all work activity and job status in line with workflow processes.
You will be based across our 4 community bases in addition to our new purpose‐built Hub at Harrogate Hospital, working with colleagues from social care and our Acute Therapy Team. Main duties of the job
You will support service users in an Acute ward, ensuring their medical and welfare needs are met while maintaining a safe environment. The ideal candidate is empathetic, an excellent communicator, and passionate about empowering others. Opportunities for professional development and an attractive pay structure are provided.
You will need to be available to work during the 39 weeks of the academic year, for 45 minutes between 08:00 - 09:00 in the morning and 45 minutes between 14:45 - 15:45 in the afternoon approximately, depending on individual site requirements. Uniform, equipment, and training will be provided.
