You will be involved in implementing a place-based approach and delivering a high-quality service to communities and partners in a locality context, with a focus on improving life chances through learning, personal development and active citizenship, empowering people to make positive changes through a capacity building approach.

You will have a Professional Qualification in Community Learning and Development, (BA/PG Dip).

You will have experience of delivering literacy and numeracy learning, managing and leading a team, partnership working.

You will have an understanding and implementation of local and national policies related to Community Learning and Development and adult learning.

You will play a key role in helping us achieve our vision to be a leading provider of education and skills that supports community cohesion and drives local and regional productivity.

You will research and identify local community needs using insight, data and partnership engagement to maximise opportunities.

You will work directly with young people on a weekly basis, building trusted relationships, facilitating sessions, and ensuring high-quality, engaging delivery, while also helping to shape and grow this newly funded phase of the organisation.
