You must be suitably qualified for the position advertised and be prepared to attend a face to face interview with Axcis to demonstrate your suitability for this role. Salary / Pay Rate will be dependent on your skills and experience.

You will be required to support in small classes from Year 7 – Year 11, using behaviour management skills in assisting pupils in overcoming barriers to learning.

You will need to be resilient, empathetic, patient and not take things too personally. Desirable to have experience in a specialist school setting

You will have:* Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly those with challenging behaviours. An understanding of the importance of addressing the root causes of challenging behaviours and a compassionate approach to working with students. Relevant qualifications (Level 1, 2, or 3 in teaching assistant or related fields preferred).

You will also be required to provide 2 professional references covering at least the last 2 years, and complete our online application followed by a video or face to face interview.
