winter maintenance assistant jobs in Nottingham

You will work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations.

You will work 4 on 4 off 12-hour day shifts. There will be a requirement for you give on call support, which will be substituted with a minimum 4 hour pay for being called out. The Groups companies manufacture quality products for use in human and animal foodstuffs, agriculture, aquaculture, and industrial applications.

You will be an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias.

You will be able to fault find on PLCs, including the ability to change ladder logic - PLCs predominantly used on site.

You will also have good knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics, with strong diagnostic skills and be proactive in your approach.

You will be part of small team, assisting with all activities that help the site run as efficiently as possible. Engineers will be qualified to NVQ Level 3 (apprentice trained or equivalent) and will have experience working within a manufacturing environment.

You will be a well- rounded Engineering minded individual who will be able to influence and develop the Projects team around you, whilst being a strong communicator.
