You will work under the guidance of the System Design Authority and interact very closely with the Software Development and Test teams within an Agile environment.

You will contribute to all stages of the modelling development lifecycle, engage in retrospective reviews and bring ideas to the table.

You will work closely with subject matter experts and senior stakeholders on high-impact programmes spanning modelling and simulation, autonomy, geospatial systems, synthetic environments and digital twins.

You will remain deeply technical while setting direction, leading teams and acting as the technical authority across projects.

You will bring proven experience of leading major software engineering programmes, ideally within the defence sector.

You should demonstrate strong commercial judgement, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate senior stakeholders and diverse teams alike.
