You will contribute across the full software development life cycle, from design (UML/SysML) through development and test. Career progress includes Technical Lead, Expert, Architect, Senior Software Developer or Software Design Authority. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM Development of code within an agile environment (scrum) in line with the System Design.

You will work closely with subject matter experts and senior stakeholders on high-impact programmes spanning modelling and simulation, autonomy, geospatial systems, synthetic environments and digital twins.

You will remain deeply technical while setting direction, leading teams and acting as the technical authority across projects.

You will bring proven experience of leading major software engineering programmes, ideally within the defence sector.
