You will be responsible with planning, implementing, monitoring the financial management of budgeted woodland management programmes using contractors, agents and volunteers.
You will be responsible for optimising the engagement opportunities for visitors, local community and volunteers across the key sites to support with events such as community tree planting.
You should be confident working from drawings, fitting steel and platework to tolerance, and supporting production on large new build vessel sections. A trade test will be required as part of selection (details To confirm). BPSS security clearance will be conducted, so you will need a valid right to work in the UK and be able to pass BPSS checks.
You must hold a welding code (ISO 9606) for FCAW – ideally with Lloyd’s or similar class approval – and be comfortable welding in all positions (5G/6G).
You should be able to read drawings and follow welding procedures. A trade test will be required as part of the selection (weld test – details TBC).
