You will lead and develop a team, from within the Temporary Works CoE department, providing safe, practical and economical designs for internal clients to a high standard of professional competence and in compliance with company procedures. This role can be based at our Leeds, Solihull, or Kilsyth, Scotland office, with a hybrid working schedule.
You will then negotiate the contract sum within the budget, including finalising costs to cover all late variations
You will issue revised contract drawings to subcontractors, negotiating the cost of variations.
You will agree final accounts with subcontractors, ensuring all works have been carried out as required and analysing costs to assist on future estimates
You will utilise the flexibility enabled by our menu writing processes, to help adapt our offer to meet the needs of our business and our guests.
You will manage teams, coordinate resources, enforce health and safety regulations, and liaise with contractors, suppliers, partners and customers. You should already have: - Solid HTML, CSS and JavaScript fundamentals - Experience with modern JS Frameworks, ideally Vue. js/Nuxt (commercial or strong personal projects) - Experience working with APIs - Understanding of component-based development - Git version control experience
