You will be responsible for organising and managing your own workload whilst maintaining the highest level of standards. Each of our subject areas is faculty driven and as an Associate member of the team you will have direct contact with a Head of Faculty to support you with caseload management, learner queries and assessment processes.
You will provide tailored one-to-one assistance to a specific pupil, helping them engage in learning activities, building their confidence, and ensuring their academic and emotional development.
You will encourage participation, follow structured support plans, and help create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
You will be supporting pupils aged 4 to 16 years old, primarily within a primary-focused setting, helping them engage positively with learning and develop essential social and emotional skills. Your working hours will be 8.45am to 3.30pm, giving you a structured day that allows you to focus on building strong relationships and providing consistent support.
You must be suitably qualified for the position advertised and be prepared to attend a face to face interview with Axcis to demonstrate your suitability for this role. Salary / Pay Rate will be dependent on your skills and experience.
You must be able to speak to pupils in a manner which encourages and supports them, enabling you to build trusting relationships. Previous experience of working within EYFS people is desirable. Experience supporting children with SEN would be an advantage. A team player with patience, understanding and a willingness to develop is needed.
