You will build a professional & trusted relationship with the students which put their health, safety and overall development first. This role will include supporting the schools teaching staff to deliver on a daily basis a broad and balanced curriculum for our students both on and off site.
You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK. Flexibility in your availability, with the ability to travel to different care settings. A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively. A clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.
You must be able to speak to pupils in a manner which encourages and supports them, enabling you to build trusting relationships. Previous experience of working with young people is desirable. Experience with autistic children and those with social communication difficulties would be an advantage.
