You will be teaching a small class of pupils across KS2–KS4 with a range of additional needs, including Autism and SEMH. The role involves planning and delivering a creative, personalised curriculum, working closely with support staff, and supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.

You will use BSL and other communication strategies to support learning, working closely with specialist staff, support assistants and therapists to ensure pupils can fully access the curriculum. The role also involves supporting language development, promoting independence and creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

You will be supported by a dedicated teaching assistant, enabling you to meet the needs of all pupils and help them achieve their full potential.
