You will work closely with the other social work staff and foster carers to ensure that quality standards are met in all assessments. Ideally you will have prior experience in fostering, however you will be considered with 2+ years experience post qualified in other areas of children's services.
You will also get a generous holiday allowance of 27 days.
You will work with individuals to maintain their tenancy, develop daily living skills, and access meaningful community activities. This is a mobile role covering a radius of approximately 5 miles, supporting over 30 service users as part of an expanding service.
You will be expected to attend the following training sessions: Your Leadership Impact Service Improvement for Beginners After you complete these one and a half days of training, you will be able to explore further leadership and improvement training opportunities. We also offer a range of additional in-house courses and bitesize programmes through our Leadership and Improvement Team.
You will have skills in positive communication and engagement and will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for the people we support across Linthorpe.
You will have the confidence to be able to work within a positive behaviour support framework, to accept responsibility and to develop as a skilled practitioner.
