You will be supported with ongoing training, CPD opportunities and mentoring. This team works to deliver high quality Speech and Language Therapy provision across acute and community settings linking in with ICCs. Given the semi‐rural nature of this region, telemedicine has been used for some time and is well established as a mode of therapy delivery.
You will need existing eating, drinking and swallowing competencies at least to Foundation Level (RCSLT, 2025)/Level C (2014). Our service is currently reviewing models of delivery, incorporating telehealth and clinic approaches, and streamlining pathways to ensure safe and sustainable care to all communities across Morecambe Bay.
