You will be responsible for planning and involved in assessments and EHCP reviews for the children in your class.
You will have support from trained SEND teaching assistants, therapists, leadership teams and outside agencies based within the borough. The school are ideally looking for a qualified teacher who has previous experience of working with students with SEND.
You will be part of a dedicated SEN provision within a mainstream school, supporting pupils with a wide range of needs while enabling them to access the same learning as their peers wherever possible. The role is rooted in partnership working: SEND is not the sole responsibility of the SENCo or SEND Team, but a shared commitment across the whole school.
