You will be working on the XCROSS project which aims to make a step-change in railway maintenance.

You must NOT already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship. - This Apprenticeship assumes the candidate has little or no knowledge/experience of the occupation and is NOT suitable for candidates who already have a similar or higher-level qualification in the same or similar subject of the apprenticeship.
You will assist in delivering design plans using CAD and BIM, learn engineering principles, and work with project teams. A Level 4 Civil Engineering Senior Technician Apprenticeship is offered, along with 33 days of annual leave and a health cash plan. Candidates need at least 5 GCSEs including English and Maths, and 1-2 A Levels in a relevant subject.
You will gain valuable insights and experience essential for a successful career in construction and engineering.
You will attend a leading Training Provider or College and complete the Level 4 Civil Engineer Senior Technician apprenticeship and regularly attend in-house training and development as part of the programme.
You will develop essential fault‐finding and problem‐solving skills, gain insight into complex manufacturing and process equipment, and gain hands‐on experience in a fast‐paced, live environment.
You must have the right to work in the UK, not time‐limited and without requiring sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route at the start of the scheme or upon completion.
You will work alongside Project Leaders, Design Leads and technical experts to understand the design development process, from outline design through to construction and handover to the client.
You will also work with the wider Design & Build team to understand how your designs will be physically built, operated and maintained.
