You will be working on the XCROSS project which aims to make a step-change in railway maintenance.
You will have a PhD (or submitted your thesis before taking up the role) in a railway engineering related discipline or an area related to 3D scanning or computer vision. This role will be based at the university of Leeds campus and there is scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner.
You will develop and enhance your technical and management skills in a variety of applications and job roles, including design and project management.
You will receive one day study leave during term times to attend university to work towards your BSc or BEng Building Services Engineering degree.
You will attend a number of instructor-led training sessions where you will meet and hear from people across the business and take part in a series of interactive activities to equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed in your role.
You will have the flexibility you need to do your best work with hybrid work options.
