You will be testing optical elements such as lenses, filters, beamsplitters, reflectors, and diffractive elements in mechanical structures that will allow the optical system to perform correctly.
You will be required to write the necessary reports to support the tests and findings. Essential Requirements: - Experience as an Electronics Test Engineer, Electronics Technician, Quality Engineer, Quality Technician or similar - At least 2 years commercial experience - Minimum HNC in Electronics
The Production Test Engineer will manufacture, test, and repair company products to specifications, ensuring quality and adherence to procedures.
You will support and maintain a range of internal and customer-facing applications.
You will work closely with developers to deploy fixes and updates, document solutions and identify ways to improve tools, processes and automation.
You should be methodical, customer-focused and proactive, comfortable working across a range of technologies and collaborating with others to achieve results.
You will be integrated within a newly established project team as the Senior Engineer, Process Assurance, a key role in maintaining process integrity, ensuring consistent application of engineering standards, and driving operational excellence. You'll work with a wide range of stakeholders to identify process risks, implement corrective actions, and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
You will have excellent knowledge and experience of API development, and will have skills in Azure. The right person for this role will receive the following benefits: - Salary of up to 56K DOE - Employer pension contribution of up to 9%
