You will work within a fast-paced Duty Team, acting on referrals from the MASH (Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub), attending to Section 47 enquiries, and completing Single Assessments.
You must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, and hold a full UK driving licence.
You will work with people in crisis, where urgent support arrangements are needed, and make decisions regarding mental capacity and/or the Mental Health Act. Additionally, you will support individuals to receive care and treatment in the community rather than inpatient settings, arranging effective discharge pathways and facilitating community connections, housing, and discharge arrangements.
You will primarily be responsible for handling incoming safeguarding referrals. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience and the ability to work in Rochdale.
