You will be there to ensure that residents are involved in all decisions regarding their care, and you'll help encourage and develop new skills through a variety of different activities.
You will play a vital role in ensuring that your residents are safe, comfortable, and most importantly happy.
You will be undertaking support and supervision visits to provide placement management, planning, and intervention to ensure the children's care and development needs are met.
You will also need to be Social Work England Registered.
You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK. Flexibility in your availability, with the ability to travel to different care settings. A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively. A clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.
You will work directly with a small workload of families to help them make changes and support them to care for their children. You need to be able to build relationships quickly and work with children and families who may be described as ‘difficult to reach’. Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.
