Senior Support Worker needed in Macclesfield to manage a team and assist in a mental health supported living scheme.
You will provide care, direction and support to young people who may display challenging and disruptive behaviors, emotional and social difficulties. A Night Support Worker is responsible for supporting young people by providing physical and emotional care during a waking night shift.
You will also be responsible for the delivery of a range of therapeutic interventions and other aspects of the service user's care plan under the guidance of a registered mental health practitioner.
You will liaise with all agencies necessary to the health and wellbeing of the service user and their carers.
You will work alongside the occupational therapy team and positive behavioral support team. Together you will be expected to maintain and work within CQC regulatory standards.
You will work closely with social workers, legal professionals, and partner agencies to provide accurate information, practical support, and advocacy that helps achieve the best outcomes for children.
You will be working with young people aged 11 to 18 who have been placed into the care system for numerous reasons with an array of disorders, behaviours and needs and therefore require individuals who have the confidence, patience and skill set to successfully work with these young people and make a positive impact on their lives.
