You will ideally have: - A minimum of 3 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor within residential groundworks - Strong technical knowledge of groundworks packages, including drainage, roads, and infrastructure - Experience working for a groundworks or civil engineering contractor
You will be working with junior members of the team and be responsible for mentoring. Key Responsibilities as Senior Quantity Surveyor: - Work alongside pre-construction team on any 2-stage tendering - Oversee the teams procurement / management of sub-contractor packages - Deal with final accounts / any dispute resolution that may arise
You will ensure work complies with all relevant legislation and industry best practice. Key Accountabilities: - Co-ordinate all aspects of work so that the project is completed in line with client requirements, within budget and on time. - Manage own teams' performance and competence of all responsible staff including sub-contractors.
You will take full responsibility for the electrical elements of the project, ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely delivery. Reporting to senior management, you’ll coordinate on-site teams and subcontractors, manage programme and cost control, and maintain strong client relationships.
