You will provide high-quality care and support to meet the physical, emotional, social, and cultural needs of children and young people, including those with complex emotional and behavioural needs. Key responsibilities of the Residential Support Worker:Deliver safe, nurturing care in residential homes and community settings.

You will be joining a dedicated team of 5 Support Workers who enable Eve on a 1-1 basis around the clock (including at least one sleeping night per week), for some activities you will also work with another team member.

You will work with them, their families and other agencies to meet their assessed needs and support them to achieve their potential. Include assessment, planning and interventions with Children in Need, Children Looked After and Children in need of Protection, as well as young people preparing for adulthood.

You will encourage children to have a voice, participate in group activities, to develop intellectual and social skills, and also encourage them to use various resources and experience a range of activities. Short breaks provide support to young people who have a disability and live in the Kingston and Richmond boroughs.
