You must have the appropriate skills and experience to perform and work within an environment that can at times require using your own initiative along with an understanding of The Children Act, Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
You will work closely with our other Property Inspectors and other members of the Council across a variety of departments. The successful candidate will support the delivery of an effective, efficient, and compliant Repair and Maintenance service through the provision of housing stock data management and services to ensure the Council remain statutory compliant.
You will be responsible for interviewing, assessing and identifying preventions whilst overseeing the day-to-day operation of the team.
You will be working with external partners, agencies and other internal sections that will improve outcomes for individuals and families.
You will need to be organised and self-motivated but also a good team player.
You will need to be able to provide an efficient and high standard of administrative support. To assist and support in the processing of Housing Register Applications carried out by applicants.
You will also be dealing with all enquiries relating to the letting, termination and repair of the Councils garage stock.
