Linux Systems Engineer jobs in Southend-on-Sea

You will be responsible for monitoring BMS, FDD platforms, and IoT technologies, identifying inefficiencies, and carrying out first-line remote interventions. In addition, you will support site-based teams to ensure buildings continue to perform at their best, providing an exceptional standard of service delivery within a critical environment.

You will be responsible for maintaining, installing and fault-finding on systems such as intruder alarms, access control, warden call units, communal aerial equipment and CCTV setups.

You will join a supportive, fast-paced team environment with full training provided and plenty of scope to develop your career.

You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting Thames Water’s Site SCADA systems (based on platforms such as AVEVA System Platform / Wonderware, FactoryTalk View, and Iconics), ensuring their security, resilience, and availability.

You will lead on investigations, reporting back the findings, generating and implementing remedial actions. In this role, you will impact the overall quality of our products, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. Your expertise will help drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance our quality assurance processes.
