You will work in collaboration with colleagues and tenants to deliver personal and housing-related support to those we care for whilst maintaining the independence and dignity of the people we support. Role Responsibilities:
You will be part of a team led by a Team Manager.
You will hold a small caseload of complex cases whilst supporting the Team Manager in improving the service delivery to our cared for children by providing a mentoring and coaching role for social workers and you will deputise for the team manager in chairing meetings and providing management oversight for cases.
You will predominantly be supporting families with children aged 8-18 who are experiencing conflict, relationship and communication difficulties to work through their challenges, using creative solution focused activities.
You will use your knowledge, experience and skills to build relationships, provide a range of person-centred interventions and manage a caseload.

You will provide consultation, advice, and training to a wide range of agencies.
You will provide Care Act assessment, support planning, review, safeguarding, mental capacity, and best interest work, participating in the duty function and improving the outcomes for individuals with a learning disability and/or autism, including young people who are in transition from Children’s services.
You will create tailored lessons and support students through the national curriculum while building strong relationships.
