You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs. From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their life.

You will be working across two supported living services in South Shields, which are conveniently located next door to each other.

You will support adults with a learning disability to live full, fun and active lives.

You will have skills in positive communication, engagement and will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for the people we support.

You must be able to follow agreed guidelines and work positively within a consistent, mutually supportive team ethos.

You will cover skills such as data mining, manipulating data, visualising data, and reporting on data. Study time for the qualification is approximately 30 hours and qualification is achieved by completing a 1-hour multiple choice exam.

You will be provided with access to a tutor and a 1-hour online revision workshop prior to sitting your exam.
