You will be expected to define a strategy, articulate a vision, and engage a rapidly expanding team of over 50 technical colleagues, including multiple development squads.
You will sit on the Senior Leadership Team and will be responsible for developing and maintaining a systems estate that delivers our organisational objectives, as well as helping to direct the wider business’ strategy.
You will collaborate with various teams across JRHT, especially the System Owner for Housing, the programme team, and the Asset Management function, as we embed new systems.
You should have a good understanding of business processes related to housing, repairs, and compliance, and be able to translate these into system configurations.
You must have a first degree in Computer Science or cognate discipline and a PhD in computer science, autonomous systems, or equivalent experience.
You should have knowledge of systems safety engineering, robotics, autonomous systems, artificial intelligence or a related discipline.
You will provide meaningful insight, support operational colleagues and leaders, challenge existing ways of working, and help pro-actively identify and support continuous improvement across the organisation.
