You will be responsible for: - Characterising, handling, and managing hazardous and non-hazardous waste in line with UK and EU regulations - Ensuring correct storage, segregation, containerisation, labelling, and coordination of waste collections - Maintaining accurate waste documentation and records, including contributing to monthly waste analysis and identifying opportunities for waste reduction
You will lead, coach and develop a shift-based engineering team while remaining actively involved in maintenance, breakdown response, fabrication and improvement work. You'll play a key role in improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime and building a high-performance, safety-first culture.
You will be carrying out day-to-day activities of the site; including working in seed production, grain storage, environmental crop production, crop protection, general warehousing and dispatch.
You will work closely with the wider team to deliver the site plan, ensuring stock levels are maintained, production targets are met, and housekeeping is kept to a high standard.
