You will work independently and as part of a team, prioritising tasks to maximise equipment availability, maintain quality standards, and promote process efficiency. The role requires a minimum 50/50 split between electrical and mechanical work, with preference given to candidates with a stronger electrical background.
You willmainly workin a two-person team, liaising with production, hygiene, and technical departments, handling general plant upkeep, breakdowns, and site repairs. The factoryoperates7 days a week, including weekends and bank holidays, so flexibility to work outside regular hours is essential.
You will manage a multi-disciplinary project delivery team (project managers, project engineers and construction supervisors) and own the portfolio’s financial governance, reporting and long-term planning. You will have strong IT literacy, including Excel and CMMS use, and proven experience in maintenance coordination, planning, or CMMS administration within an industrial or engineering environment. Proficiency in P&ID drawings and the ability to identify electrical, mechanical, and operational assets is essential.
You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.
