You will play a key role in preparing assessments, care plans, and court reports, ensuring children have the best chance to thrive in safe and stable homes. The team also leads on Permanency Planning, supporting children into their forever families, and provides expert input into complex cases before the courts.
You will also contribute to our vital work with unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, supporting them through care planning, immigration processes, and transition pathways. Senior Social Workers will take on more complex casework and play a key role in supporting and mentoring colleagues, contributing to service improvement and reflective practice within the team.
You will play a key role in helping vulnerable children and young people find a foster home that can transform their future.
You will also supervise and advise foster carers, and make sure that both carers and children have the support they need to thrive.
You will be passionate about building incredible lives for children, and helping foster carers be the best they can be.
You will deliver a time-limited support to our service users in their own homes for up to six weeks. In addition to meeting the clients needs, to try to, as far as practicable, prevent unnecessary admission to hospital or residential care. You are required to provide personal care and light domestic duties to vulnerable adults/elderly.
