You will have the freedom to break processes apart, troubleshoot deeply, and make meaningful improvements in real-world rail technology.
You will prepare, configure, and test survey and sensing systems, support R&D testing and product development, run Factory Acceptance Testing, and install and commission systems on rail vehicles and platforms.
You will have worked within multi-disciplinary teams in a projects or maintenance role with practical experience on site. Ideally in the Anaerobic digestion or biomethane sector or related process industries.
You will be proactive and happy to take ownership of tasks and contribute to the growth of the business.
You will characterise, optimise, scale, and validate the R&D team’s unique ophthalmic production processes, ensuring they are robust, repeatable, and scalable. As this is a completely new optical system, the role requires a high degree of creativity, along with a proactive, hands-on engineering approach to developing novel and often complex production processes.
You should be a time-served apprentice with significant experience in electrical systems or with NVQ or C&G level 3 in electrical engineering.
