You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods, supporting production schedules, and minimising operational downtime. In this position, you will manage and coordinate storage areas, optimising space and ensuring materials are readily available to meet production demands.
You will review inbound and outbound logistics activity, assess routes, delivery methods, and carrier performance, and build accurate cost models to support commercial decision-making. A key part of the role will be sourcing, evaluating, and building a bank of trusted logistics partners, as well as supporting rate negotiations and ongoing performance management.
You will find there is a real variety of instructions with clients operating and trading in many sectors including professional services, manufacturing, technology, retail, hotel and leisure, construction and development, logistics and transport.
You will work closely with wider colleagues in Employment, Real Estate and Litigation to provide a full wrap around service to clients.
You will play a crucial role in expanding our presence within the independent on-trade (IFT) sector.
You should be a self-starter, capable of working independently, and possess a keen eye for detail.
You will be responsible for communicating with potential customers, utilising inbound and outbound calls to generate business for the company. The goal is to help the company grow by bringing in customers and developing business.
