You will be reporting to the track slab Design Delivery Director. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of high-speed rail slab track projects, requiring strong project management capabilities.

You will work closely with both clients and project teams to identify and mitigate risks

You will work closely with the Senior Design Lead, client teams, consultants, and internal delivery teams to ensure design excellence from concept through to completion.

You will manage multidisciplinary consultants, oversee design programmes, and ensure technical compliance, buildability, and alignment with project objectives.

You will lead and manage Engineers and be responsible for the production and delivery of MEPHFC designs. We are looking for someone who's dedicated, diligent, and driven, and will take this challenge head on, being an important part of a dynamic team with big ambitions.

You will be based on site 3 days a week at our Design office at Elephant & Castle.

You will be the central point of contact for a diverse design team, providing leadership and technical direction to: Internal Team: 10 staff members based in the office. External Team: 25+ external designers, coordinators, and drafters.

You should hold a current CSCS card relevant to their profession and preferably be a member of one of the design associations eg ARB, CIAT, IStructE etc.
