You will have knowledge and experience of Adult Safeguarding, with the ability to think critically and independently to ensure the most appropriate pathways to care and support are utilised. You will gain practical experience by using practice labs which enable you to practice and master what you have learned.
You will hold a caseload and work with individuals who need additional support or guidance in order to identify their individual and specific needs or where best interest decisions need to be made on their behalf. As such, these individuals may need close monitoring, or frequent review so interventions to minimise and manage risk may be required.
You will not need to have previous experience in this area of work to be suitable for this role.
You will be required to be well presented and punctual, calm under pressure, have good interpersonal and IT skills and willing to undertake future training and development in these areas of work.
You will also need to have a clear understanding of safeguarding processes to ensure that adults at risk are supported.
You will work closely with the senior team to review team development and identifying any barriers to practice.
You will have a management role in the North West SLT Team which includes working alongside the other Team Leads to support and develop an enthusiastic and friendly team who work in mainstream and specialist schools. This role requires a high level of organisational and prioritisation skills and an ability to develop these skills in others.
