You will be a case holding social worker working with approximately / children (/ families) who are subject to care proceedings.
You will be responsible for all aspects of the case management including statutory visiting, care planning and review, and court.
You will work with children and their families to assist in decision making for Children to remain at home or return home to their parents.
You will assess and determine the most appropriate pathways for referrals, considering care and support needs or potential risks.
You will work alongside a multi-skilled team and be supported by an assistant Team Manager, with some opportunity for remote work after a probationary period.
You will have no court work, allowing for you to spend less time of admin and more at home with your family/friends.
You will have experience analysing and completing assessments and writing children’s plans to a high standard with an emphasis on showing the voice of the children, young people, and families to ensure that the best outcomes can be achieved.
You will need to feel confident within a home environment for these specific needs and be able to take direction from senior members of staff, whilst being able to build positive relationships with pupils due to their need for continuity and stability.
