You will work closely with learners to achieve outcomes of their Education, Health and Care Plans.

You will work within the framework of the Sense Values to: Keep the needs of the learners at the centre of your attention at all times;

You will have had experience of person‐centred planning, keeping records up to date and providing personal care.

You must also be compassionate, empathetic, and have a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people's lives. Due to the nature of this role, our client would prefer female support workers with Full UK driving licence to fairly represent the people they support. This is a relevant requirement under the positive action measures of the Equality Act 2010.

You will support learners in all residential houses and the community, assisting with social and academic activities. Our aim is to ensure all learners have equal opportunities to develop their independence and social skills, preparing them for adult life. What will you be doing?

You will need to ensure that new post holders are able to have a good telephone manner and customer skills, excellent communication skills, clear and legible handwriting, be able to perform data entry consistently and have a good understanding of medical terminology and biomedical investigation.
