construction project supervisor jobs in England
You will be responsible for overseeing works on site, coordinating trades, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. As the work is primarily carried out within occupied homes, the successful candidate must have excellent people skills, a professional manner, and the ability to communicate effectively with residents at all times.
You will play a key role in commercial growth by overseeing projects from initiation through to completion, maintaining project plans, and monitoring budgets, progress and timelines to ensure successful completion.
You will coordinate trades teams, organise daily activities, and act as the main point of contact for residents, clients, and colleagues. The position requires a calm, people-focused approach, as you'll regularly support vulnerable occupants and manage sensitive situations.
You will carry out site inspections, resolve issues as they arise, and maintain accurate records to keep projects on track.
You will also have initiative, enthusiasm, a flexible approach, and ability to work to tight deadlines. Work hard, be rewarded: We ask a lot and set the bar high because our work truly matters.
You will need to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role. This will be funded by AWE.
You will liaise closely with construction, commercial, and pre-con teams, with occasional site visits to support the resolution of design-related issues. This role would suit someone with a construction-related qualification and experience in design coordination or a technical role, looking to progress within a contractor environment.
