You will support children and young people with learning disabilities, autism, and related behaviors, ensuring their safety and well-being. Candidates must have QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care and experience in residential childcare. This permanent role offers competitive pay, a supportive environment, and opportunities for professional development.
You will have the opportunity to take part in physical and mental stimulation by being a part of the recreational and social activities with residents, and as a group. And always with a kind smile and a supportive word, even when sometimes a day is challenging! Shifts: 06:30 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00 (working every other weekend as part of your rota)
You will need the flexibility to work shifts that include evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
You must be able to build trusting relationships with young people and act as a positive role model.
You will be joining BTS a professional and supportive residential care team, delivering high-quality care and development opportunities to young people with EBD.
