You will be given the opportunity to work within our various divisions to gain a variety of contract experience.
You will be offered membership of the Trant Career Development Association, where you will be provided mentored guidance and support to achieve accreditation and membership with the RICS.
You will then negotiate the contract sum within the budget, including finalising costs to cover all late variations
You will issue revised contract drawings to subcontractors, negotiating the cost of variations.
You will agree final accounts with subcontractors, ensuring all works have been carried out as required and analysing costs to assist on future estimates
You will report directly to the Managing QS and you will be expected to take responsibility got several key accounts on a large project or the overall financial control of smaller projects. Key responsibilities will include: Applications, valuations / cost value reconciliation.
You will take responsibility for surveying of properties and create work packages that are used by the contractor.
You will also assist the Electrical Project Engineers with the review of current fire risk assessments and implementation of remedial works to bring the FRA to an acceptable close.
You should be suitably experienced and ideally qualified
You will have support and back up but must be able to work independentlyStrong numeracy, literacy and IT skills to help analyse data. Be comfortable overseeing a project P&LGood communications skillsAbility to juggle work and complete tasks within a given deadline
