You will be supported throughout your apprenticeship by your local team and line manager, and you will be given time to carry out your studies with the provider etc.
You will be responsible for the planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance.
You will be required to generate daily reports; weekly monthly and you will be required to document all work carried out in the maintenance system used.
You will also provide guidance to maintenance semi skill members of the team.
You will work on a wide range of automated and semi-automated machinery, supporting continuous production and contributing to ongoing improvement and engineering projects.
You must be capable of following the repair process from fault analysis to completion. The successful HGV Technician must have the following attributes & will receive: Be apprentice trained and qualified to City & Guilds/NVQ level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.

Working within a high-specification manufacturing environment, you'll support planned maintenance, breakdown response, minor modifications, and continuous improvement activities. The role actively encourages growth towards a multi-disciplined technical profile.
You should be flexible enough to adapt to new processes and develop new skills when required, and participate in training and development activities. We’ll also expect you to be an active member of our busy team while being competent enough to develop new working processes or to enhance current ones.
