You will actively engage in personal development, attending relevant training and working towards building your technical expertise, accuracy and overall capability within the QA environment.

You should be able to follow procedures carefully, record reliable data, and still keep testing and inspections moving quickly to support production.

You will receive block training at the dedicated training academy in Milton Keynes, which will be complemented by a combination of Virtual Classroom sessions and E-Learning modules, underpinned and supported through every part of the apprenticeship programme via practical work experience and assessments.

You will be required to work as part of a team to deliver excellent performance by understanding how your individual performance links into achieving the teams wider objectives, being able to manage and prioritise your own workload in line with business requirements and the Working Time Directive, whilst having to work unsupervised in remote geographical locations.

You will attend a leading Training Provider or College and complete the Level 4 Civil Engineer Senior Technician apprenticeship and regularly attend in-house training and development as part of the programme.

You will work alongside Project Leaders, Design Leads and technical experts to understand the design development process, from outline design through to construction and handover to the client.

You will also work with the wider Design & Build team to understand how your designs will be physically built, operated and maintained.

You will learn directly from experienced technicians and engineers and gain exposure to real engineering projects.

You will be resident of the UK for the entire duration of the program

You will be 18 years old or older before entering an Amazon building (September 2026)

You must NOT already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship.

You will join our Water division who are a national provider of infrastructure and non-infrastructure water and wastewater services to UK water utility companies.

You will also meet regularly with your coach and your line manager to ensure you are progressing through your programme as expected.
