You will be responsible for: - Provide a secure, emotionally supportive environment overnight, following trauma-informed practices such as PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy). - Stay alert and responsive throughout the shift, working independently to address the children’s needs.

You will be compassionate, observant, patient and confident.

You will be skilled in monitoring changes in mood and developing techniques to calm and de-escalate. Ideally you will have knowledge and experience of complex needs. Youre able to communicate clearly and sensitively with vulnerable people and their families, and always adopt a person-centred approach.
