Youth Development Worker jobs in Wakefield
You will be required to work within group and 1:1 setting with a range of ages and levels of learning. Your daily routine will involve continuously adapting and working alongside pupils to make their time in school as beneficial and productive as possible.
You will be working with young people aged 11 to 18 who have been placed into the care system for numerous reasons with an array of disorders, behaviours and needs and therefore require individuals who have the confidence, patience and skill set to successfully work with these young people and make a positive impact on their lives.
You will need experience in substance misuse, ideally with young persons, and access to your own vehicle. The position offers an hourly rate of £21.14 for a full-time schedule, Monday to Friday.
