You will work closely with students to support their emotional regulation, behavioural development, and academic progress, helping them build resilience and confidence to thrive both inside and beyond school. Our school uses restorative practices to empower students in managing their emotions and behaviours, setting them on a path towards positive personal growth and success.

You will have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills that are open, honest, persuasive and pragmatic, including excellent negotiation and influencing skills.

You will be confident to work alone in the community, maintaining strong personal boundaries and managing and reporting safeguarding incidents.

You will have an excellent opportunity of working alongside a multi-disciplinary team and learn the best way to support the students. Not only will this role provide you with excellent experience working with vulnerable children, you will also leave at the end of the day knowing that you made a positive difference on the lives of those students.

You will gain invaluable frontline experience with pupils who require consistent, trusted adults to help them regulate emotions, rebuild trust, and engage successfully in education.

You will support young learners aged 5–16 with SEMH needs, Autism, trauma-related barriers to learning, and school avoidance/refusal.
