You will support these individuals in their day to day lives, with social support, medication administration and managing their home.
You will also support them to do the things they love, which include cycling, swimming, bowling, gaming, listening to music, spending time with family, reading and many other activities.
You will be able to clearly share 2 years experience supporting individuals who require high levels of support and are often deregulated.
You will have experience of providing detailed and accurate daily record keeping and incident reporting.
You will demonstrate creativity when engaging and establishing trust with children and young people and demonstrate sound communication and judgement.
You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration. You will offer care when it matters most and encouragement when it is needed, supporting individuals to grow in confidence and independence.
