You will be responsible for evaluating the needs of individuals, ensuring they receive appropriate care and support.
You will also collaborate with other professionals and agencies to provide comprehensive support to those in need.
You must also have experience of assessments, support planning, duty, CHC, MCA and best interest, working with adults of working age.
You will be expected to undertake statutory Social Work functions in line with the Care Act and the Mental Capacity Act. To undertake duties expected of Social Workers in line with the Professional Capabilities Framework and in accordance with the specific job description attached.
You will also undertake duty worker functions to screen new safeguarding concerns, manage immediate risks, and make decisions per Section 42 criteria.
You will engage in mental capacity and best interest work, including Court of Protection when necessary. Additionally, you will support students, newly qualified, and less experienced colleagues with their development and complex cases.
You will work collaboratively with families, carers, and multi-agency partners to ensure the best outcomes for the children. Additionally, you will provide expert guidance and support to less experienced team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and safeguarding policies.
