You will manage a growing and developing team of Lead Manufacturing Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers and Apprentices, providing leadership & technical guidance, setting KPIs, and managing budgets, to deliver the end-to-end manufacturing process for complex steel components.

You will have a strong maintenance pedigree with experience working with CNC machine centres, and millers, including also, laser cutting machines, welding machines, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, belts, shafts, and conveyors. You will have worked on PLC controlled machinery, within the capacity as a controls and automation engineer. On a day to day basis, the machinery will be for example, extruder machinery, conveyors, fillers, wrappers, and other manufacturing machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.

You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical engineering. Ideally working within a heavy manufacturing environment carrying out system accuracy tests, temperature uniformity surveys and instrument calibrations on gas fired furnaces. PLC programming skills required on Siemens S5/7, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi.
