You will work closely with fabrication and welding learners across both workshop and classroom (theory) settings, delivering programmes up to Level 3 to full-time students and apprentices. This is a rewarding opportunity to help shape the next generation of skilled engineers and tradespeople.
You will carry out a range of tasks from pipe welding, gas tungsten arc welding, structural welding and flux core arc welding; these types of finishes are subjected to rigorous inspection and testing Working on the main structures of the submarine, from the outer hull and internal structures such as bulkheads and decking, to the missile tubes and nuclear reactor casing
